LPU Chairman's Visit to Autonomous Vehicle Laboratory

On 9 December 2021, YBhg. Tan Sri Dato 'Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman, Chairman of the University Board of Director (LPU), Universiti Malaysia Pahang took the time to visit the Autonomous Vehicle Laboratory to see for himself the development of the SCAV shuttle bus under the Smart Campus Autonomous Vehicle (SCAV) Project. He was also accompanied by Professor Dato 'Ts. Dr. Yuserrie bin Zainuddin DIMP. as Performing the Duty of Vice- Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) Professor Ts. Dr. Kamal Zuhairi bin Zamli and several other department heads.

His visit began with an introductory session to project members and background on the project journey. Next, a presentation was delivered by the project representative, Dr. Muhammad Aizzat Bin Zakaria who is also a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, among others, presented on the autonomous technology used, products and technologies developed as well as the challenges faced during the development of the SCAV Bus itself. Next, he also boarded onto the SCAV Bus which had been developed.
