Automotive Centre Successfully Organized 4th Innovation Competition "The Advanced Innovation & Engineering Exhibition (AiNEX) 2021"

Center for Automotive Engineering (Automotive Centre), UMP has successfully organized the 4th Innovation Competition "The Advanced Innovation & Engineering Exhibition (AiNEX) 2021" on 30th August 2021 in Virtual edition. This innovation competition is a program conducted every two years starting year 2015. Automotive Centre has identified the main factors in organizing this program is to provide opportunities for participation and exposure as well as develop new research innovation talent among staff and students in public and private institutions of higher learning. colleges, secondary and primary schools as well as external agencies such as industry and individuals.
Through a series of AiNEX programs that have been conducted previously, Automotive Centre took the initiative to continue organizing this program for 2021 virtually as the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has not yet ended.
The AiNEX2021 competition has attracted 82 entries from various public and private universities, 10 skills colleges and 34 secondary and primary schools who have contributed innovative ideas related to the latest technology and green technology engineering.
The best innovation of AiNEX2021 for University category was won by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, while the College category was won by Sunway College, Bandar Sunway and the School category was won by Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi (SBPI) Gombak.
This AiNEX2021 was successfully conducted with sponsorship from Move Robotic Sdn. Bhd., Jaciqa Enterprise and Arfa Prima Trading.
Automotive Centre hopes that with the continuity of this program, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) will become a leader in research and innovation in the field of green technology engineering and further become a global technology transfer platform.
